Here at Cotna Eco Retreat we have yurts, a shepherd’s hut and a strawbale studio to stay in. Sustainability and care for the land permeate all aspects of your stay here, enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings. Book Now
Enjoy your stay on the south coast of Cornwall, relaxing in one of our beautiful yurts – Gilliflower, Tregonna King & Fern Pippin, the Shepherd’s Hut – Ismay, or choose the slightly more luxurious strawbale barn, Pengelley Orchard Studio.
Cotna’s Cornish holiday accommodation is self-catering, and in addition you can order our delicious organic food hampers for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Fresh salad leaves, golden organic eggs, sourdough bread, pesto, jams and chutneys are some of our specialities.
We run a diverse range of courses and workshops which give you the chance to learn more about growing & food. Have a look at our Courses and Events page! Find out more about wild food foraging & cooking, sourdough bread making and no-dig gardening.
Location and Surroundings
Cotna is situated in its own lush green valley, overlooking organic apple orchards, vegetable and fruit gardens, streams, ponds and woodland. It is surrounded by the beautiful coastline of the Roseland Peninsula of Cornwall. The beaches at Gorran Haven, Vault, Hemmick and Caerhays are all within a 30 minute walk along dog friendly coastal paths and quiet Cornish lanes.
The Cotna Experience
Cotna is much more than a yurt farm! In 2016 we were proud to win the Cornwall Sustainability Award for Best Contribution to Sustainable Land Management for Environmental Growth, reflecting our ethos and activity at Cotna. Read more about that on our blog: Cornwall Sustainability Awards Highlights.
We have 10 years of experience living and enjoying a low-impact and sustainable way of life, while following the permaculture principals of living in harmony with the land.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
